Un admirable premier film plus DIY qu'indépendant (25k £ de budget) d'une beauté grinçante et d'un cynisme renversant. Quelque part entre Festen et Petits Meurtres Entre Amis, on y retrouve la poésie noire des films danois et un humour de situation comme seuls les anglais savent le faire, un bon grain de mélancolie en plus et une séquence rêvée que n'aurait pas renié Michel Gondry.
